It is not easy to get those photos. Olivia needs to have food in her mouth all the time!

It is very popular in China to take professional photos for kids in different period to record their development, and those photos are also a good memory.

It takes very much time for parents, and of course it can be jobbig for kids as well.

The first step is consulting: there are different themes with different price. The theme we chose is: 4 set of indoor clothes and 2 set of clothes outdoor. We can get 80 original photos and one magazine with unique design/layout, but there is no photo album.

The second step is booking time: I do not want to have other children around when taking photos for Olivia, so we booked the whole morning, starting from 9am. There are 1 assistance and 1 photographer, and only work for Olivia. For the outdoor clothes, we booked a time in the afternoon on the second day, from 2pm to 4pm.

The third step is taking photos, which takes almost the whole day.

The fourth step is choosing photos, and it takes us 4 hours in all. There are more than 400 photos and we need delete 320 photos.

We went to supermarket today to buy durian for myself today and when we were standing in front of Thai fruit section, Olivia suddenly got very excited and pointing at something. Aha, she found blueberries! Blueberry is her favorite fruit. I took one box and she was yelling all the time and want to have some immediately. After lunch, she got some. She ate them as fast as in Sweden.

Today we had lunch in a restaurant but there is no suitable food for her in that restaurant, so I bought kid’s meal from Mcdonald’s for her. She loves the chicken pieces and also the toy!

Today we went to shoot photos for Olivia. Unfortunately she is not cooperative at all. She ran away from the background and refused to listen to the instructions. She fell asleep in between so we have to stop to wait for her.

She got very tired after the photo and we went to eat hotpot. She managed to grab one piece of green vegetable.

Olivia is very naughty then before, I feel. Look here, she is practicing Gongfu.

It will take some days for the photographer to prepare the photos and I will come back to publish here later.

Olivia is trying new things every day, new food, new toys and new faces. She adapts to new things very quick and she enjoys them.

Olivia has crab today and she loves the meat.

She likes to play with the new toy, but I feel it is a bit too loud.

Ipad

Today is the 5th day when Olivia is China. She is more familiar with surroundings and allows my aunts to hold her for a while, it is a small relief for me.

For the first several days when we were outside, she never fell asleep in the stroller and she was alert all the time. As soon as someone is saying hello to her, she is yelling for mamma and wants me to pick her up from the stroller. But today she managed to fall asleep in the stroller.

She is walking outside today and when we passed the kindergarten today, there are probably 100 children doing gymnasium, she got very excited.

She is receiving a lot of gifts from my relatives and friends, she gets toys, clothes, cash, gold, food, every kind of stuff. My suitcase is already very full.
